What size is a small double mattress?
Also known as a three-quarter mattress, a small double measures 120cm wide by 190cm long, or 4’ x 6’3", making it a spacious alternative to a single mattress for solo sleepers.
Is a queen bed good for a couple?
As it's 15cm narrower than a double mattress, as well as 30cm narrower and 10cm shorter than a king mattress, a small double or queen size is a perfect choice for couples with smaller bedrooms.

You can also use a double duvet, mattress protector, and double bedding for a three quarter mattress, although these will be slightly larger, too.
