PRODUCT USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Dormeo Options and Wellsleep mattresses will arrive rolled and vacuum-packed. Please follow the instructions on the packaging when opening and do not use knives or sharp objects as these may damage the mattress cover.

Mattress must be opened and unrolled within 30 days from the date of delivery.

After opening, the mattress cover may be slightly wrinkled, which is a normal result of vacuum packaging and will disappear in a few hours. The mattress will regain its normal shape in 15 minutes and be ready to sleep on after 12 hours.

Due to the nature of the materials used and the vacuum packaging process, mattresses with foam components may have a ‘memory foam’ smell. This smell will naturally dissipate after a few hours, following removal of the packaging.

Our Options and Wellsleep mattresses should be rotated once every 2 weeks for the first 3 months, then once every 3 months after that. Rotate head to toe and vice versa.

The product is intended for domestic use in temperate environments. We recommend airing the mattress (without sheets) once a week, which will prevent the build-up of humidity.

Dormeo mattresses can be placed on almost any surface and are suitable to use on a platform base, wooden slats or a divan. However placing the mattress on steel nets, wide slatted groundings, flat plates or directly onto the floor can lead to the build-up of humidity. If you use any of these base types please air your mattress at least once a month, leaning it in a standing position.

Direct sunlight may lead to deterioration of the foam in the foam mattresses.

To create the optimum ventilation and proper weight distribution use this mattress on a wooden slatted base of the same dimensions as your mattress.

The product is not intended for use in damp or humid environments.

To clean accidental spills or stains, spot-clean the mattress cover with a wet cloth and mild detergent. Dry it thoroughly before sleeping on it again.

We recommend Dormeo mattress protectors for your new Dormeo Options and Wellsleep mattress. Use of this mattress without a mattress protector might invalidate your warranty.

We don't recommend using the mattress on top of another mattress.

Cover zips are a result of the manufacturing process. Unzipping the cover and removing the core might invalidate your warranty. This applies to the Options and Wellsleep range.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The thickness (height) of your new mattress can reduce from 5% to 15%. Such reduction is considered normal.

Industry standard tolerances apply to mattress dimensions, +/- 10mm in height and +/- 20mm in both width and length. This tolerance is considered normal and does not constitute a defective mattress. Such a variation can occur even after long-term use of the mattress.

All mattresses have a weight limit of 22 stone on each side. Use above this weight limit is not covered by warranty.

Over time your mattress may soften slightly in feel, this is not considered a fault but a consequence of normal use. Therefore such changes are not covered under the warranty.

Our mattresses are suited to standard bed bases and bedsteads. For slatted bases, please ensure the maximum gap is no more than 7.5cm (2 inches), wear and tear on a mattress will be greater the wider the gaps and will invalidate the warranty if gaps are more than 7.5cm.

This product is made according to the UK BS EN 597-1 & 2:2015 and BS7177:2008+A1:2011 fire retardant test, however, do not smoke in the bed or use flammable materials on or near the mattress.

The manufacturer does not warrant for mattress changes and faults caused by mattress use not in accordance with the given instructions and warnings defined in this warranty leaflet.

In the unlikely event that there is an issue with your mattress, it is the buyer's responsibility to provide evidence of a defect, if images cannot be provided, it is down to the buyer to arrange a professional inspection at their own cost. The “Seller” reserves the right to professionally inspect the mattress. Please note the defective mattress must be returned to Seller for inspection to determine the proper remedy, if any, under Warranty. All shipping costs to and from Seller are the sole responsibility of the original buyer, regardless of whether a defect is confirmed by the Seller or not.

Product claims relating to manufacturing errors (sewing errors, eventual stains and other imperfections), which don’t influence the functioning of the mattress, must be notified to the Seller within 30 days of mattress delivery.

Claims for mattress repair or replacement caused by not following these instructions in this guide or through misuse will not be processed.
